about the artist

Gayle Gerardi...

attended the Art Students League of New York on New York City's west side and studied under reknowned portrait artist Robert Brackman. She currently lives in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband and has been painting for over 40 years.

Her art... offers a unique abstract impressionist perspective of all things she finds special in life. Her goal is to work from the heart in an effort to deconstruct the scenes and portray their core elements of beauty.

By focusing on atmosphere, color planes, knife texture, watercolors, oil and under painting, she strives to express a unifying dialogue between the obscure and the personal feelings evoked through life's simple pleasures.
