Live Event Painting is a fun and elegant element to add to any event. Watching a painter re-create the venue, capture the light, and add in guests and florals as the party unfolds is exciting and inspiring.
In a matter of hours, Gayle will capture the unique energy and essence of your celebration through her use of color, texture and light. You and your guests are able to watch as your painting progresses throughout the course of the event.

How It Works
The artist creates an impressionistic version of any event rendering the majority the painting on site for all guests to experience. An event painting typically lasts 4-6 hours. The process begins approximately an two hours prior to the start of the event, so that guests do not first gaze upon a completely blank canvas. The paintings can range in size and are captured in oil on canvas. Following the event, the finishing touches are are completed in studio.
Key techniques would include attention to ambiance, perspective, color, texture and lighting.
​Live event painting is a way to capture the life and enegy of your celebrations, in the moment, as they are happening. Gayle works in conjunction with clients to uncover exactly what specifics will make up the painting's composition and elements. Parameters can include colors, perspective, moments of interest and capturing certain VIP's. Destination events and welcomed and the artist is available to travel worldwide.

During studio touch-ups, additional detail will be added to the Bride and Groom, the venue, guests will be more resolved, and additional guests may be added. If there are any basic revisions the client wants to the painting they can also be accomplished.

All Commissions require a $500 deposit to secure your date, with the balance due one week prior to the start of the event.
